Digital Script vs Paper Script

A digital prescription is fundamentally different from a printed copy of a digital prescription , and the two cannot be used interchangeably.

A printed version of a digital prescription is not valid and cannot be used at any pharmacy to dispense medication. Similarly, a screenshot of the script preview, or the script preview that appears after clicking the script link, cannot be used for dispensing.

As a patient, you will not have direct access to the digitally signed electronic prescription PDF. If you require a copy for travel or medical aid authorisation, you may request one from your prescribing doctor.
