Cancel, amend and schedule script flows

Repeat scripts to tweak drafts or Schedule sends for later. Only use before dispensing; S6 limits apply. Don't delay—pharmacies expire scripts fast!

Cancel and Amend

  • These two functions must only be used when the patient has not yet used the script at the pharmacy because they will cancel the signed script and the pharmacy will not be able to access the signed PDF ever again.

    • Cancel will cancel the script.

    • Amend will cancel the script but will then pull up a new draft of what had been scripted on the cancelled script. You will then be able to make the tweaks you want to and sign and send. A new script code will be sent to the patient.

Repeat

  • By pressing Repeat, a new draft of what had previously been scripted, will be created. You will then be able to tweak as needed, sign and send.
  • You may find this feature useful when chronic patients return for repeat scripts.

Draft status

  • A script will automatically save in the patient's script history as a draft until it is sent or deleted.

S6 Recurrent Script feature

This is an important video to watch if you use or are interested in this feature.

(Kindly note that this is an Essential Premium feature and works when only Schedule 6 products are listed on a prescription. If non-S6 medicines are added to the prescription, the recurrences will fall away. )

Scheduling scripts

  • When signing a script you will have the option to sign and send now or sign and schedule.
  • By selecting sign and schedule you will be able to control when the script link is sent to the patient.
  • Take note that the date that appears on the script will be the signing date, therefore do not schedule it too far in advance as the pharmacy will only accept the script within 30 days of issue.
